Uma das minhas primeiras grande surpresas musicais aconteceu com esta música. Quando tinha uns 14 anos vi uma banda, de quem não me recordo minimamente, a tocar este tema. Numa altura em que não era muito "cool" alguém tocar "Michael Jackson" (o tema é composto por Steve Porcaro e John Bettis), uma banda rock estava a tocar este tema, que nem era um dos maiores "hits", com cara de quem estava a tocar uma das melhores canções de sempre... Esta música nem estava na minha lista de 20 preferidas do MJ. Quando se é criança, os "Hits" são sempre os melhores temas.
Recentemente voltei a ser surpreendido com este tema quando o ouço tocar numa pista entre "Daft Punk" e outras bandas mais electrónicas. Continuo sem saber se este tema está nos meus 20 temas preferidos do MJ mas acho que já não me surpreenderei mais se a ouvir noutro contexto qualquer; a música é fabulosa.

One of my first great musical surprises happened with this song. When I was about 14 years old I saw a band, whom I do not remember at all, playing this song. At the time, when it was not very "cool" one touch "Michael Jackson" (the theme is composed by Steve Porcaro and John Bettis), a rock band was playing this theme, which was not even one of the biggest "hits", with a feeling that were playing one of the best songs ever ... This song was not even on my list of 20 favorite MJ's songs. When you're a kid, the "Hits" are always the best.
Recently I was surprised again when I hear it playing between a track from "Daft Punk" and another from some electronic band. I still do not know if this song is in my 20 favorite MJ's songs, but I think I would not be surprised if I listening to it in any another context; the music is fabulous.

Não gosto muito de fazer comparações, mas durante todo o concerto lembrei-me várias vezes de Joni Mitchell e Nick Drake... Fantástico... Mesmo fantástico...

Another fantastic concert in "Maus Hábitos" (actually there were two - but I'll talk about it later). However, I must say how much I surprised with this fantastic Canadian singer-songwriter. I don't like to make comparisons, but throughout the concert she reminded me several times of Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake... Amazing ...Really Amazing...

Estava convencido que já tinha partilhado este tema. O primeiro disco da banda caiu na minha playlist violentamente provocando grandes prejuízos aos restantes álbuns. Este último disco "Alarms in the Heart" continua bastante bom, mas não provocou a mesma confusão que o anterior. Os "Dry the River" estão, sem dúvidas, no caminho de se tornarem uma super-banda. Confesso especial agrado quando se mostram no formato acústico...

I was convinced that I had already shared this theme. The first disc of the band fell on my playlist violently causing great harm to the other albums. This song is from their last album "Alarms in the Heart", still pretty good, but did not cause the same suprise than the last. "Dry the River" are undoubtedly on the way to become a super-band. I confess special pleasure in listening to them when they are in the acoustic format...
