Onze do Ano (2014)

Neste ano, a lista do "Onze do ano" é ainda mais inconsistente do que o habitual. Não fiz um trabalho tão sistemático de registo daquilo que mais fui gostando de ouvir e, por isso, muitos bons discos ficaram, com certeza, fora dela.
Relativamente aos discos incluídos tenho que realçar os fabulosos "Romantic Works" do "Keaton Henson" e o "Windmills" do "Lubomyr Melnyk"; ambos já tinham conquistado um lugar no onze do ano passado.

This year, the list of the "Eleven Best Records of the year" is even more inconsistent than usual. I didn't keep a log of what I liked to hear so systematically, so many good records were surely left out.
In this list I have to highlight the fabulous "Romantic Works" of "Keaton Henson" and "Windmills" from "Lubomyr Melnyk" ; both had already won a place in last year list.

Onze do Ano (2013)

Nem tudo foi mau neste, quase defunto, 2013. Felizmente, houve (ouve) boa música e, como já começa a ser habitual, deixo-vos o meu 11 do ano. Mais uma vez reforço que esta é uma lista, sem ordem de preferência, e admitindo que se fosse feita amanhã, talvez fosse ligeiramente diferente. Para além disso, muita música de 2013 ainda está por ouvir. Um bom ano para todos! PS: Este ano acrescentei uma grande lista de suplentes e admito que, no critério final, em caso de dúvida preferi dar a titularidade a um artista menos conhecido.

Not everything was bad at this almost dead 2013. Fortunately, there was good music and as usual, I leave you my best team of records. Again, reinforcing that this is a list in no order of preference, and assuming that if it was elaborated tomorow it might be slightly different. Additionally, there's a lot of music of 2013 that I'm still listening. I wish you all a good year! PS: This year I added a large list of alternates and I admit that as final criterion, if in doubt I preferred to give a place in the team to a lesser known artist.

Em todos os inícios é quase obrigatório um balanço do que passou. Neste sentido, num exercício inútil de quantificar musicalmente o defunto 2012, o UM publica mais uma lista dos melhores discos; que pode e deve ignorar. Como já foi referido noutros anos, esta lista é fortemente condicionada pelos discos que ainda pertencem a minha playlist.

In all beginnings it's almost mandatory to resume what happened before. So, in a useless exercise to quantify the musically defunct 2012, UM publishes a list of the best records, that can and should be ignored. As mentioned in other years, this list is strongly influenced by the music that still belong to my playlist. As alternatives I add a few more elements worthy of mention. I would also note that the first two alternates were only listened in this past week, but they have a lot of potential.

Neste onze do ano não entram Hulk, nem Fernando nem a águia Vitória. São 11 discos que talvez não sejam os melhores, mas são sem dúvidas dos melhores.
