Não há palco pequeno para José Cid. Esta canção é para todas aqueles que como eu não gostam do domingo (a única alteração que me agrada do NAO é usar minúscula nesse dia). Este grande tema, que até na construção, é muito diferente dos restantes sucessos da altura é um incontornável da música Portuguesa e deveria ser incluído na lista de temas obrigatórios para combater o dia seguinte ao Sábado. PS: haverá melhor argumento contra o Novo Acordo Ortográfico do que a própria sigla?

José Cid lançou em 1985 este fabuloso "single" que combina uma mistura de sonoridades interessante. Por um lado as influências ciganas, reforçando a caracterização das personagens, e por outro, um trabalho de cordas típico do final dos anos 70, mas já pouco habitual em meados dos anos 80.

A própria forma com que José se apresenta em palco, sentado, declamando a sua poesia, enquanto que o baterista se apresenta na perpendicular, vincando as várias direcções musicais deste tema revela uma determinação ímpar.

Merece ainda especial atenção o teclista que, com a perfeita noção da importância deste momento histórico, revela grande concentração e, principalmente nos primeiros momentos, foca-se em que nada corra mal nesta interpretação.

Sem qualquer dúvida, um momento histórico da música Portuguesa. Ou melhor, um momento histórico.

The presence on stage of José, sitting, reciting his poetry, while the drummer performs in a perpendicular direction, reinforcing the various musical directions of this song reveals strong determination.
