Tim Buckley: Song to the Siren (II)

Este é o milésimo post de UM, e por isso, a música escolhida merecia um pouco mais de ponderação. Tal como no primeiro post, há cinco anos, resolvi não pensar demasiado e escolhi a mesma música: "Song to the Siren" de Tim Buckley.
Esta é a versão do disco "Starsailor", um dos pontos de viragem de Tim que incorpora elementos mais jazzísticos e experimentais. Confesso preferir a versão mais folk e minimalista do programa dos "The Monkees" mas esta, cheia de reverb e com um fundo que nos pretende levar para as profundezas do oceano é outro momento incontornável.
Tim continua a ser a minha voz preferida e a sua versatilidade permite ouvi-lo em vários estados de espírito. Voltar a esta música é voltar a casa.

This is the thousandth post of UM, and therefore the chosen song deserved a little more consideration. As in the first post, five years ago, I decided not to think too much and chose the same song: "Song to the Siren" by Tim Buckley.
This is the version of the album "Starsailor", one of the turning points of Tim, incorporating more jazzy and experimental elements. I confess to prefer the more folk and minimalist version of the program of "The Monkees" but this one, full of reverb and with a background that aims to take us to the depths of the ocean is another essential point.
Tim continues to be my favorite voice and his versatility allows me to listen to him in various states of mind. Coming back to this music is coming home again.
