Sting não lançava um disco que me dissesse algo desde o "Mercury Falling" (1996), embora reconheça que este não teve uma crítica muito simpática (mas isso não interessa). Com "The Last Ship", Sting "regressa" em grande com um excelente disco, com uma sonoridade retirada do "Soul Cages" (1991), mas com uma abordagem mais Folk. Este tema de abertura é uma boa amostra do que podem encontrar. Ainda não tinha colocado nada do disco, apesar de o ter nomeado para um dos melhores de 2013. Por isso, para que não haja dúvidas é um disco recomendado!
Sting hadn't released a record that mean something to me since "Mercury Falling" (1996), while recognizing that this was not a very friendly record to the critics (but that does not matter). In "The Last Ship" Sting "returns" with a great record with a sound that remains at times "Soul Cages" (1991), but with a Folk approach. The opening theme is a good sample of what you can find in the record. Despite having named for one of the best of 2013, it's the first song from the record that I post.
